Smoker Logbook
Write down every cook while it is fresh. Six months from now the logbook remembers what you will not.
Arrives February 2027, free for bundle holders
Why it exists
The gap between a good cook and a great one is not equipment. It is memory. The best brisket you ever made had a set of numbers behind it, and if you did not write them down, you are guessing again next time.
What it does
The details that actually repeat
Cut, weight, pit temperature, wood, rub, wrap, times and a rating. The things you would need to do it again.
Searchable
Find every brisket you have run, or every cook where you used hickory, or the five-star ones. Filter by meat and by rating.
A next-time note on every cook
One line, written while it is fresh. That line is the whole point of keeping a logbook.
Fed by the tracker
Finish a cook in the Live Pit Tracker and it lands here with the times and temperatures already filled in.
Three steps, start to finish
Log the cook while you are eating it, when the detail is still in your head.
Rate it honestly, including the bad ones.
Search it before the next cook of the same thing.
Who it is for
Anyone who has said "I did something different last time and it was better" without being able to say what. Competition cooks, obviously, but backyard cooks get more out of it than they expect.
What it will not do
Entries live on the device you wrote them on and are not synced to a server or to your other phone. That is deliberate: your cooks are yours. Export regularly if the history matters to you.
Questions
Where is my data stored?
In your browser on that device. It never goes to us. Clearing your browser data clears the logbook too, so export a copy now and then.
Can I get it onto my laptop?
Export from the phone and import on the laptop. There is no automatic sync, by design.
Does it work with the Live Pit Tracker?
Yes. A finished cook in the tracker becomes a logbook entry with one tap.

Works alongside
These three come up most often on the same cook.
Live Pit Tracker
Log your probe readings as the cook goes. It works out how fast the meat is climbing, calls the stall when it hits, and tells you the clock time to expect for wrap and pull.
See what it does ›Grill Maintenance Tracker
Add your cookers, tap Done when you do a job, and it remembers the date, tells you when it is due again, and flags what you have let slide.
See what it does ›Pit Troubleshooter
Something is going sideways at the pit. Tap the symptom and get the likely causes in order, the fix for right now, and what to change next time.
